SiamEast Solutions Supports Sustainable Recycling by Donating Used Plastic and Orphan Waste to Wat Chak Daeng

SiamEast Solutions Public Company Limited (SE) continues to reinforce the commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility through the donation of used plastic bottles and orphan waste to Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan Province. The temple is widely recognized as a pioneering model for integrated waste management and the circular economy in Thailand.

The initiative aligns with SE’s broader ESG strategy and reflects the company’s dedication to promoting responsible consumption and waste reduction.

OrphanWaste refers to recyclable materials that are often overlooked by traditional recycling systems due to their low market value or lack of collection channels. Examples include single-use plastic bottles, film packaging, and certain composite containers. These materials are frequently discarded as waste despite their potential for reuse.

SE has implemented an internal waste segregation program to collect and manage such materials from within its organization. The collected waste is then delivered to Wat Chak Daeng, where it is repurposed into valuable items such as monk robes, garments, and household products made from recycled plastic—demonstrating how innovation can transform waste into social value.

Through this ongoing collaboration, SE supports sustainable recycling practices while fostering environmental awareness and community development.
